Confused as to what goes in the bin? Here’s a quick reference guide to ensure materials can be made into new products.
Boxx Sanitation offers Single Stream Recycling, which lets you put all your recyclables into 1 bin.
No-sorting required!
Rinse and flatten whatever you can.
Larger items that don’t fit in the bin can go alongside or underneath the bin.

Number 1 thru 7 plastic bottles and cartons such as detergent, milk, yogurt cups, margarine tubs, pop or vitamin bottles rinsed, with caps removed.

Motor Oil, Pesticides & Herbicides, Aerosol Cans, Propane Tanks, Helium Tanks, Alkaline Batteries, Light Bulbs*

Steel Cans & Lids, Aluminum Cans, Glass Bottles & Jars, Magazines.

Waxed Cartons, Frozen Food Boxes.

Mixed paper including newspaper, phone books, office paper, paperbacks and mail, NO shredded paper.

Beer or Pop Cartons, Pizza Boxes, Paper Towels, Paper Plates, Paper Napkins, Styrofoam.

Corrugated cardboard, shoe boxes and dry food boxes such as cereal and cracker boxes flattened. Remove any plastic liners. Larger pieces may be flattened and put under or alongside the bin.
